I'm looking for someone who would like to get a couple passes into the Kansas City Renaissance Festival and has a video camera (preferrably a dvd camcorder, but vhs recorder will work in a pinch).


I will put you on the guest list if you will film our shows one day (this means five shows, plus pub sing). When filming is done (and I have the disc/tape), I'll put you and up to three of your family/friends on the guest list for "services rendered".


This doesn't have to be a blockbuster recording, however, I would like a decent recording so my family members who are unable to travel may finally get to see what I do at festival.

I just wanted to drop a quick blog and profusely thank all my friends who made the SweeTarts Academy of Piracy's maiden weekend a resounding success!!!!   Thank you all so much for your well wishes for the season, and for your understanding to the developing stage we're working on.  We truly love doing our show at the Canterbury Public House with all the great patrons who frequent there. 

We have been told we will have more seating this weekend... so I fully expect to see the rest of you at the show this weekend (and you know which ones of you missed our show last weekend)  ~fains evil glare~.

Just so we are sure you have no reason to miss us... our schedule for this weekend is:

Cinnamon will be the first person to speak at the Opening Gate each morning... approximately 9:40am.... don't be late!!!!!  (we think she's having an affair with the Queen's Brother, George).

SweeTarts Academy of Piracy will be performing at the Canterbury Public House (aka Pub Stage next to the Guard Encampment) at: 11:00, 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00

We will also be a part of the Pub Sing at 5:30 on the Three Lions Stage.

Friends, Family, and Fans....

My apologies for being absent from the shire for so long, but tis most tedious to maintain a family, work, and three websites... all while trying to get together a stage show and all the PR that entails.

For the moment, I'm only able to keep up with the show's page on myspace (as I have limited internet for another week).  Do please make your way there for schedule updates as to our performances.

I can tell you that will be performing for the entire run of KCRF (August 30- October 13) at the Pub Stage.  Additionally, I will be the first person you all get the displeasure of seeing in the mornings, as I will be the first person out on deck at Opening Gate.  Do please come by and be pleasant for Opening Gate, as it is much too early for a poor pirate lass to be up and engaging.

Well, it's been a little over a month since our auditions for KCRF and after having enjoyed the month hiatus... we are back together and hard at work getting ready for the upcoming season!!

We have our new logo done and ready to make our flag, as well as a myspace page now up and running.  I'm hoping to soon have a renspace page for our dynamic duo as well.
